Valentine's Day Edition

This wiki has been created to give you adoring pet lovers the opportunity to show off your furry...or otherwise...best friend! Thanks for visiting our wiki! For this Valentine's Day Contest, show a photo of your friend showing the love! Please read the rules below, very carefully before entering!

Rules for entering the Valentine's Day Contest:

1. Absolutely no photos that even so much as hint at animal cruelty!!! If your pet refuses to cooperate, do not force him to like it!! Pets are cute and are bound to be caught on film doing something absolutely precious on any given day!! (Please also see rule No. 4)

2. All entries must follow the uploading art rules of Elftown.

3. Due to the nature of this contest, new photographs are required along with a proof photo. For example, included with your regular entry, you must provide a photo of you and your pet holding a sign with the date on it or a sign that says "I love Elftown Pet Show". If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

4. Photomanipulations are allowed for this contest as long as you include the original, untouched photograph with your entry as well as the proof photo.

5. Participants must show respect for each other and each others' pets at all times. The Elftown Pet Show does not tolerate harassment of it's members.

6. You may have multiple entries if you have multiple pets. Your entry can be a photo of one or all of your pets or you can have single photos of each individual pet. There is no limit to the number of photographs you can enter. However, only one of your entries may be chosen for the final poll.

7. The winner will be chosen by a public Elftown poll!

DEADLINE: February 16, 2009 or 10 Entries, whichever comes first!

2008-09-26 [Alexi Ice]: Question: Can a black cat in itself be halloweeny enough to fit the theme? My cat De La Lune is pure black with beautiful green eyes. He is the perfect halloween cat. Or do I need to add a pumpkin or something to it?

2008-09-26 [Lothuriel]: Well, black cats are traditionally Halloweeny (huh, weeny) but it would be nice to see some other element of Halloween thrown in there. If you can't get him to sit still long enough, you are welcome to manipulate the photo...just remember to enter your proof photos as well!
